Not A Chance!

People think that they now can customize their salvation.  They believe that Christ died for everyone and that they have the right to do whatever they want as long as they ask God's blessing.  This is not so.  If the natural military has rules and regulations that must be abided by, how much more do you expect of God's army?  The video attached is of Apostle Nance reminding Christians today that it's either God's way or hell!  If you think you can tell God how you're going to live, and still be saved, think again.  NOT A CHANCE!

Distractions

Society now is riddled with technology and other things to keep the average individual busy.  Some technology was made to prevent boredom while other technology has furthered laziness in the average person.
Saints today, should be focused on salvation no matter what gadgets or gizmos the world may put out.  Sad to say though, many saints today are distracted, but not even by things of the natural.  But by spiritual things.  They are letting Satan slowly sift their minds, losing their grip in God, and eventually their spot in the kingdom.
The following is a video of Apostle Nance talking about distractions, and encouraging saints everywhere today to stay focused on God's work.  Email us any questions, comments, or concerns at twacministries@yahoo.com.  Check out our website as well at www.twacministries.com.

How Much You Wanna Bet?

Gambling
Gambling is slowly but surely making its way into the church.  This should not be.  God said that his people are to walk by faith, and not by sight.  And that includes gambling.  Gambling is like forcing the hand of God to work in your favor.  In turn, you are not asking God that His will be done.

So You Think You Are Saved?

Saved From What?

It has gotten to a place where everybody is saying they're saved.  Comedians, still smoking and drinking, are saying they are saved.  You've got rock stars, saying they are saved, still playing blues, and saying they are Christian rock artists.  It used to be in the Baptist church, when I was coming up, everyone said they had religion.  Now, they are saying they are saved.  So what does it mean to be saved?
To all of you that are saying you are saved, but are still dressing like you used to dress, still have a boyfriend/girlfriend, still have the same old ways, here is my question to you.  If you are saved, then from what?  What are you saved from if you are still doing the same ol' things?

Alright, first off, in Matthew 1:21 (KJV), the word says: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.  The end says, "from their sins", not in their sins.  How can you be saved and never stop doing the things that you were doing?
The Apostle Paul said in II Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  What are those old things?  The way you think.  Why do I say that?  Solomon said the thoughts of the righteous are right.  And God said in Isaiah 55:8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  So how can you continue to think and act like you used to act and say you're still saved?  You say you are saved, but from what?  Somebody's lying, but it's not the Word of God.
In I John 3:9-10, it reads: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not the righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  In order to become a son of God, you have got to purify yourself.  What does that mean?  Everything that the Lord says is a sin, you've got to come away from it as much as you can.  You sanctify yourself, then the God of Peace will sanctify you wholly.  God will do with your heart what you can't do yourself.  There must be a difference. You've got to walk away from sin yourself.  Once again I ask, what are you saved from?
When you transgress the law of God, you are a sinner.  The purpose of Jesus coming into the world was to save you from your sins.  How can you proclaim to be saved, and haven't come out from under your sins?  If anything, you have picked up a few.  If you are saved, you cannot continue to sin.
You may commit sin accidentally while you're growing and learning in God.  In order to reach perfection, you have to make mistakes.  And in these mistakes, you might sin, trying to do right.  God forgives these sins.  But I am addressing residual sin.
If you are saved, you will be known by your works, or your fruits.  To all of you that say don't judge: Jesus said a tree is known by the fruit it bears. (i.e. the way you live, the way you walk, the way you talk) Therefore, I am not judging you, your fruits are.
Romans 6:1 - What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  Since some say salvation came by grace, which is what the scripture said, shall we continue to sin so God can continually have grace?  Paul didn't leave you wondering.  His question was not rhetorical.  But he answered in the next verse, which says, God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  You cannot continue to sin if you've been delivered from sin.  If you are dead to sin, how can you continue therein?
For example, right now I am living.  Once I die, I no longer live in my house.  If I am dead, and they've put me six feet under, how can I continue to be in my house, cooking meals, taking baths, etc. like I did while I was living?  Do you get the picture?
If you are "bought with a price", then you no longer "own" yourself once you are saved.  It no longer matters how think or feel.  Jesus said in John 14, I am the way.  And if you're going to be saved, you have to line up with what the Word of God says.  It tells you how to think, how to walk, how to talk, and how to act.
My pastor used to tell me, "Your attitude determines your altitude".  There is no such thing as a sweet, mean saint.  You can't be saved and be mean.  You can't be saved and have a quick temper.  If you think you can be saved and keep your sins, you are hellbent and hellbound.

This has been Apostle L. C. Nance, Sr., saying God bless you.  And pray my strength in the Lord.

Is It I?

Nowadays, folks are under the impression that anybody can grab a mic and Bible and run for the pulpit (figuratively speaking).  They feel that if they can speak with a tune, and conjure up thought-provoking sermons occasionally, that they must have been called and sent by God to preach. Wrong. God said, "I will give you pastors after my own heart".  People seem to have skipped this tiny detail.  Not everyone is qualified to be a pastor.  If you are undecided on what is required to lead a congregation, let Apostle Nance lay it out for you.  Listen and take notes.  Then comment or email us if you so desire.

Pastor Who?

Numerous people in various religions firmly believe and teach that women have no business in the pulpit.  But these individuals are badly mistaken.  The Bible tells us to "search the scriptures" and "in all thy getting, get an understanding".  In depth research proves that women have just as much right as men do to lead a church.  For we are all one in Jesus Christ.

All the information presented in the above video has been recorded in the book entitled, Women Preachers.  This book was written by the pastor of True Worshippers Apostolic Church, Apostle L. C. Nance, Sr.  If you would like to learn more about this topic, get your copy of Women Preachers!
It's price is currently $15.00.  Our church would like to thank you in advance for your support.  And we hope that you are blessed by this material!!

Do you need an angel?

I'll Be Your Angel

Have you ever had that moment when it feels like all is lost?  You feel as if there are no words or actions that could change the way you feel about circumstances in your life?  And then you remember that you have an angel.  One that is there for you whenever you need him; all you have to do is call on him.
If Christ could put his feelings into the words of a song, we believe this would be it.  The song's name is "I'm Your Angel" and is originally sung by Celine Dion and R. Kelly.  This video shows the True Believers of True Worshippers Apostolic Church singing these encouraging words at Hope Apostolic Church in Sheridan, AR.
T.W.A.C. hopes that you are deeply touched by this song.

Baptism

Have you been baptized since you believed?

Is faith alone enough? Will Christ grant you eternal life if you haven't been baptized? The answers to these questions and more are in the following videos of Apostle Nance detailing the ins and outs of baptism. Do not hesitate to comment or email us any concerns you may have.

Have a little faith

Oh ye of no faith..

In times like these, it is very easy for any Christian to get discouraged and lose faith.  Not having faith is a dangerous "gateway" sin.  If you are down and need a little encouraging word, just sit through this video of Apostle Nance encouraging his congregation to have faith and keep it.

Do you know him?

The Godhead

T.W.A.C. firmly believes in one God. His name is Jesus Christ.  Some may find it hard to understand, while others refuse to believe. Nevertheless, the truth is the truth.  But for those individuals who simply don't understand, or would like to hear the Godhead rightly divided, here is our pastor breaking down the Godhead.  Take notes if necessary and read along with him!  Feel free to comment or email us your concerns.

The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ, and Pastor L.C. Nance Sr. rightly divides this Good news to his tv audience.
Greetings!

A lot of Apostolic churches today, for some strange reason, have decided to filter what they will and will not abide by in God's law.  But True Worshippers Apostolic Church believes, teaches, and obeys what the apostles taught.  It is the purpose of this blog to inform anyone who will listen what Christ requires of his people.  Here is a couple of youtube videos of Apostle Nance rightly dividing the word of God concerning Holy Apparel.  Watch and be blessed!!

Introduction from Apostle Nance

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38

Praise the Lord Saints, grace and peace be unto you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Jesus came to save his people from their sins. And he did this through building a church with a five-fold ministry to teach people about him and his word. This church was built upon the foundation or doctrine of the apostles and New Testament prophets Ephesians 2:19-20, Acts 2:42. No other foundation or doctrine will be accepted, I Corinthians 3:11. It is to the one and only church (The Apostolic) that I am addressing. The pastor’s primary job is to feed the people with knowledge and understanding, Jeremiah 3:15. But many have turned away from the truth and begun to teach false doctrine and fables because the people have backslid in their minds and don’t want to hear about God. Paul told Timothy in I Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables, II Timothy 4:3-4, and “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away,” II Timothy 3:1-5.This means that we are in the last of the last days, when people say they want to be saved but don’t want to be told how to live their lives.

I am writing to you because I am gravely concerned about the body of Christ the church. Preachers that were raised up in the unadulterated uncompromised truth are now turning to full Gospel or some other false doctrine. They won’t teach holiness anymore. They have lowered their standards so much that it seems as many women are wearing pants as the men. Pastors are no longer teaching against women cutting their hair. Men are wearing short or saggy pants to church. God’s house should be respected. As pastors we should “stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle,” II Thessalonians 2:15. God still wants his people to “put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean,” Leviticus 10:10. Saints must make a clear difference between themselves and the world. Whether people like it or not God has a dress code and it must be obeyed. The church looks like a bar or night club on Sunday because of all the ungodly dress of the people. Some of the brothers come in with oversized sports jerseys, or trousers with their hair in braids, rings on every finger, and their arms, necks legs and sometimes faces are covered in tattoos, Leviticus 19:28. Some have shaved their heads to be like the men of the world. Even the pastors come to the pulpit dressed like they are lounging around the house. Instead of suits they now wear faded jeans with their shirt-tail hanging out and sneakers. Jude the brother of Jesus told us “beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” Jude 1:20. This means that we should offer God our best in worship. And Blue Jeans and sneakers are not our best by any means. Yes men once wore overalls to church but that was their best at that time. They even wore a white shirt and tie if they had one but they did not own nor could they afford suits at that time!

Paul told Timothy, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works,” I Timothy 2:9-10. Though he was addressing women the same applies to men, all are to dress in a manner becoming to saints. Saints clothing should reflect their godliness. The apostle John said, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world,” I John 2:15-16. Therefore saints are not to follow after the latest styles or fashions of the world.

No matter what new style comes out in the world, we must continue to wear our clothing descent. Our attire should be such as to make us look nice without attracting undue attention to us. Everything we do as people of God should glorify Him and not us, Matthew 5:16. Though many people give him the glory for their nice build and good looks they should not adorn themselves in tight clothing that causes people to stare at them. Our music and dance must be easily recognized from that of the world. Some are saying that “the music doesn’t matter as long as the message is there,” but that is a lie fresh out of the devil’s mouth. Paul told the Corinthian church “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?,”  II Corinthians 6:14. To mix a gospel message with worldly music is adulterating (adding something that doesn’t belong) the message. God said to “put a difference between clean and unclean and holy and unholy,” Leviticus 10:10. Once the world hears the ungodly music they will be led to believe that they can come into the church and continue their ungodly lifestyles. If they hear the same music being played in the church that they hear in the streets they will be convinced that all the dancing and partying that accompanies that music is there too! If you don’t believe music has an effect on people’s spirit then listen to this, “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him. Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep. And Jesse took an ass laden with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul. And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer. And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight. And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him,” I Samuel 16:14-23. David’s music caused the evil spirit to leave Saul because he had a Godly spirit, but worldly music will cause demons to rage because it was written by ungodly men. Paul also told the church at Ephesus, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,” Ephesians 5:19. Once worldly music has been added to a gospel song it becomes worldly and diluted. It no longer has the power to drive out evil spirits no matter what the message is! Both the message and the music must be Godly. Rap, bebop, hip-hop, Gospel jazz or any such garbage is not Godly and should not be allowed in the worship services. These songs are demonic in nature and vex the spirit of God. These kinds of music and songs should vex the spirit of any real saint. The prophet Elisha the prophet said, “But now bring me a minstrel.  And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him,” II Kings 3:15. He used music to usher in the spirit of the Lord. It stands to reason that the wrong kind of music can drive out the spirit of God and usher in demonic spirits. These are the spirits that make people want to “pop their fingers” break dance and yes even praise dance in the church. No I’m not saying that praising God in a dance is a sin, but I am saying that these damnable dances done by “praise teams” are a sin! They dress like hoodlums move like gangsters and many times rap to express themselves. You want to know what’s wrong with rap? Just listen to what Paul told Timothy, “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, I Timothy 6:20,  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” II Timothy 2:16. Could anyone have described rap, hip-hop, Bebop any better?  We are told to avoid and shun these ungodly songs and music in the church! I agree with the apostle Paul when he said, “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God,” II Corinthians 7:1. It is time for the true saints of God to stand up and be counted. Let your lights (holy lives) shine into the world to guide lost souls to Christ. Only the pure unadulterated truth will save mankind!
